Distinguished Service Medal

The Distinguished Service Medal is the highest honor awarded by the National Auto Auction Association Board of Directors. The medal is bestowed upon a person employed by a member of the National Auto Auction Association for a conspicuous act of heroism in circumstances of extreme danger, without regard of risk to oneself, to save the lives of others.

Recipients of the DSM must be employed full- or part-time by a regular member or associate member of the National Auto Auction Association at the time the action was performed in their line of duty. Awards are made in the name of the National Auto Auction Association.
