Manheim’s Susie Heins Recognized Among Auto Remarketing’s “2012 Women In Remarketing”

Heins Honored for Professional, Educational, Customer Achievements

ATLANTA – Manheim Vice President of Dealer Sales Susie Heins was named to Auto Remarketing magazine’s “2012 Women in Remarketing” list. Heins and 12 other female remarketing industry leaders were recognized at an awards ceremony held on Nov. 15 at the National Remarketing Conference in Las Vegas.

Now in its fourth year, the award showcases women’s contributions to the used car, remarketing, auction and auto finance industry. Honorees are acknowledged for their dedication to the industry through philanthropy, education, breakthrough strategies and other initiatives.

“Susie is a valued member of our team, and I know that everyone at Manheim joins me in congratulating her on this well-deserved honor,” said Nick Peluso, senior vice president of customer management at Manheim. “Susie and her teams play an integral role in meeting the changing needs of our customers, strengthening our relationships and helping them prosper. This achievement reinforces Susie’s commitment to Manheim, our customers and the remarketing industry as a whole.”

In her role, Heins leads all aspects of dealer sales at Manheim, which includes supervising the 400-person national sales team. Her responsibilities include: business strategy; customer relationship building; sales management and development; trade show and event planning; and dealer education initiatives such as The Learning Center website and The Wholesale Institute (TWI).

With more than 20 years of sales, sales management and digital auction experience, Heins has been a driving force behind overall growth strategies for Manheim and its parent company, Cox Enterprises. Heins has held crucial roles in the growth of Manheim’s OVE.com, and she was instrumental in launching Manheim’s Dealer Advisory Board, an annual conference that brings together remarketing industry leaders to discuss auto remarketing trends, ideas and initiatives. An advocate for personal and professional development, Heins has participated in Manheim’s customer service training, diversity training and Leadership Fundamentals program, as well as the Cox Executive Leadership and the Cox Mentoring programs.
