Manheim Louisville Fundraiser to Benefit Making Strides Against
Breast Cancer

Clarksville, Ind., Auction to Host Classic Car Show and Yard Sale on Oct. 4, 2014

CLARKSVILLE, Ind., -- Joining the fight against breast cancer, Manheim Louisville and its employees will host a fundraiser on Oct. 4 that will benefit Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. The auction, located at 5425 Highway 31 East in Clarksville, will host a Classic Car Show and Yard Sale to raise funds for this American Cancer Society event.

The yard sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., and car show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Registration for the car show starts at 9 a.m. Proceeds from both the car show and yard sale will benefit Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. The events are open to the public, and are free to attend.

The fee to showcase a classic car at the event is $15 in advance of the show, and $20 on Oct. 4. To reserve a spot in the show, please contact David Saylor at 812-258-4318. Around 100 vehicles are expected for the show. Prizes will be awarded for Best in Show vehicle, as well as first, second and third places for individual brands including Buick, Dodge, Ford, General Motors, Oldsmobile, Plymouth and Pontiac. Door prizes will be awarded, raffles will be held and food will be available during the event.

In addition to the car show, a community yard sale will be held at the auction with donated items from Manheim Louisville employees on display for sale.

Employees from Manheim Louisville will participate in the Making Strides walk, a non-competitive 5K to help raise funds in the fight against breast cancer. The event will be held at Waterfront Park in Louisville, on Oct. 26 at 1 p.m. Click here to sign up or to donate.
