Policy

The National Auto Auction Association is a membership organization that promotes the highest standards of ethical conduct by its member auctions in their business activities. As a standard-setting organization, the NAAA members, with input from industry experts and its Auction Standards Committee, have developed a comprehensive arbitration policy that all member auctions are expected to implement and employ.

Our responsibility as NAAA’s staff is to serve all of our members. As such, it would be inappropriate for any individuals employed by the Association to involve themselves in matters that may be in dispute between a member auction and its customers. Arbitration issues must be resolved through the established arbitration process among the parties directly involved, independently of NAAA.
